Dear Tenth District Republicans:

Before we get down to Republican business, the Tenth District Executive Committee would like to wish each of you a Merry Christmas. I hope that all of you have a wonderful time with family and friends. It may be easy for those of us who are active in politics to let them dominate our thoughts, especially during tumultuous times. Christmas helps return us to those things that are of utmost importance: faith, family and friends. Have a joyous Christmas and New Year celebrating all three!

The last couple of years could be described in many ways such as hectic, frustrating, energetic, productive. There have been many lows and highs!

Many people have commented to me and our previous Chairman Ray Cowan that this is the most active and involved they ever remember seeing our party.

There are far too many people to thank for this activity and growth but it starts with you and your efforts to get involved and stay involved. Our Executive Committee and County Committee have done a fantastic job on many fronts so give yourselves a hand.

We will continue to move forward in 2018 with more State wide Candidates so we will be better informed for the elections. We will continue to educate, train and look for qualified candidates to run for local offices. We will also continue to raise funds and build our membership rolls.

I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Scott Jay

Chairman Newton County GOP
